An Excellent Grainger's Royal Worcester Reticulated Lidded Vase.
A lovely quality Grainger's Royal Worcester reticulated vase and lid, shape number G565, raised on triform base with hoof feet. Standing approximately 6.1/4"high overall x 3.1/4"diameter and dating to the period 1889-1902, it is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration, and the gilding is virtually without wear. The mark visible on the side of the finial in pictures 1 and 2 is not damage, and appears to be a small touch of gilding original in the manufacture.

An attractive Royal Worcester porcelain pot pourri, shape number H261, with sheep painted decoration by James Allen who was trained by Wm Powell and Harry Davis. Standing approximately 4.1/4"overall height x 3.1/2"max. diameter, it has the black factory stamp for 1955 and is in excellent condition with no damage, crazing or restoration, and the gilding is unworn.

A Victorian Silver And Hardstone Bookmark, Birmingham 1887.
A very attractive, Victorian silver and inset hardstone (I'm advised that these are probably blue agate, although they look blue/grey to me) bookmark in the form of a trowel. Measuring approximately 3.1/4"long x 3/4"wide x 3/8"deep, it has well struck, clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1887 by Miller Bros. and is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs, and the blade is true and flat.

A fine, Royal Worcester blush ivory comport with two sweetmeat dishes supported by a knarled tree above young boy and girl figures in Kate Greenaway style. A large, Royal Worcester porcelain vase, shape Number 289, with hand painted peacock and peahen in a woodland setting by Albert Chidley. Standing approximately 12" tall x 5.1/2" diameter, it has the dark green factory stamp for 1909 and is in excellent condition with no damage, crazing or restoration and the gilding is fresh and unworn.

Rich, Alfred William. NEAC. 1856-1921.
Watercolour "On The Canal, Rickmansworth", signed bottom right and with artist's label verso. Overall size 26.1/2" wide x 22" high. Image size 15" wide x 10.1/2" high.

Painter of landscape watercolours, Rich studied at the Westminster School of Art and at the Slade School, being much influenced by Peter de Wint. He exhibited at the New English Art Club from 1896, and became a successful teacher in his own right, having his book "Watercolour Painting" published in 1918. He was born in Gravely, Sussex, and lived in London and Croydon, painting in many parts of Britain, but especially Sussex, and died whilst taking students on a sketching tour to Tewkesbury.

A very nice quality Royal Worcester cabinet vase with long slender flared neck, and finely painted with ripe peaches, black grapes, red cherries and blossom sprays on an ivory ground by William Ricketts. Standing 9" tall and with puce factory stamp for 1919, it is in excellent condition with no rubbing to the gilding, damage or restoration.

An elegant Royal Worcester pedestal cabinet vase, with slender tapering flared neck, and finely painted with a pair of pheasants on the ground in a wooded landscape, and another in flight. With puce factory stamp for circa 1903 and standing approximately 11.5" tall, it is in excellent condition with no damage, rubbing to the gilding or restoration.

A watercolour titled "American 7 Masted Schooner" by Frank Henry Mason, RI. RBA 1876-1965, signed bottom right, the colours still fresh and unfaded with no foxing.
Mason, born in County Durham, was a marine painter and watercolourist, and also etched and illustrated. Exhibited at the RA, and in 1973 an exhibition of his work was held at the National Maritime Museum.

An Edwardian Silver "Fox" Pin Cushion, Birmingham 1905 by L&S.
A quite rare, Edwardian silver pin cushion in the form of a standing fox.
Measuring approximately 2.1/2"long x 1.1/8"high, it is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 by the specialist makers Levi & Salomen and is in very good condition with no damage, splits or solder repairs. The red cushion covering although old and worn is still serviceable, and appears to have been on the fox for most of its life.

A Silver Pepperette In The Form Of A Seated Teddy Bear.
A quite rare and very appealing, Edwardian cast solid silver salt or pepper pot in the form of a sad looking teddy bear.
Measuring approximately 1.3/4"tall x 1.1/8"wide x 1"deep, it has clear well struck hallmarks to the body for Birmingham 1910 by Crisford and Norris and corresponding partial marks to the pull-off head. It is in very good condition with no damage, dents or solder repairs, the pull-off head fits snugly and securely and the detailing of the fur of the body is well defined and without significant wear.

A fine William IV solid silver "Castle -Top" card case with Windsor Castle to one side and Kenilworth Castle to the reverse, each image being shown in relief, surrounded by chased scrolling foliage.
Measuring approximately 3.3/4"tall x 2.3/4"wide, it has well struck hallmarks for Birmingham 1837/8 including the head of William IV, by the pre-eminent maker of small boxes and vinaigrettes, NATHANIEL MILLS, and is in excellent condition with no damage, dents or solder repairs and the decoration is sharp and without significant wear, with no holes to the high points or the corners.
