A Victorian Silver Salver, Sheffield 1900 By H. Stratford.
An attractive Victorian solid silver salver of good heavy quality, with shell and "C" scroll cast silver rim, all raised on 3 ball and claw feet.
Measuring approximately 8.1/2"maximum diameter x 1"deep and weighing 15 ozs, it has well struck hallmarks for Sheffield 1900 by Henry Stratford and is in very good condition with no damage, dents or solder repairs.

A Silver "Castle-Top" Card Case By NATHANIEL MILLS, Birmingham 1837/8
A fine William IV solid silver "Castle -Top" card case with Windsor Castle to one side and Kenilworth Castle to the reverse, each image being shown in relief, surrounded by chased scrolling foliage.
Measuring approximately 3.3/4"tall x 2.3/4"wide, it has well struck hallmarks for Birmingham 1837/8 including the head of William IV, by the pre-eminent maker of small boxes and vinaigrettes, NATHANIEL MILLS, and is in excellent condition with no damage, dents or solder repairs and the decoration is sharp and without significant wear, with no holes to the high points or the corners.

A Victorian Novelty Silver Pepperette In The Form Of A Chick. London 1882.
An excellent Victorian solid cast silver novelty pepperette in the form of a chick.
Measuring approximately 1.5/8"tall x 1.3/4"overall length x 1.1/4"wide and weighing 29.8gms, it has well struck full hallmarks to both the body and the pull-off head for London 1882 by Thomas Johnson, and is in lovely condition with no dents or solder repairs, unworn detailing to the plumage and the pull-off head locates snugly and securely.

A Victorian Silver Scent Bottle, London 1881 By SAMPSON MORDAN.
A pretty, Victorian solid silver scent bottle with attractive all-over engraved and punched decoration, and complete with what looks to be its original glass stopper.

Standing approximately 2"tall x 7/8"diameter, it has clear well-struck hallmarks to the base for London 1881 by Sampson Mordan, with corresponding partial hallmarks to the lid, and is in very good condition with no damage, dents or solder repairs. The lid closes snugly with no play on the hinge, and it is complete with its original stopper which has a large flat chip to one of the faces of the shaped part used for gripping, when removing the stopper.

A Victorian Silver Vinaigrette Birmingham 1854 By Nathaniel Mills.
A good quality, Victorian solid silver vinaigrette complete with its original sponge and finely pierced grill.
Measuring approximately 1.1/4"long x 1"wide x 3/8"deep, it has clear well struck hallmarks for Birmingham 1854 by the pre-eminent box maker Nathaniel Mills and is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs, the hinges work smoothly without wobbles, the engraved decoration is crisp and without wear and the gilding is in excellent condition. For the sake of accuracy it has a tiny ding to the lid which can be seen slightly in the interior.

A Fine And Substantial Victorian Silver Monteith, London 1901 Weighing 124 Ounces!!!
A massive, Victorian solid silver monteith style punchbowl with arcaded rim and half fluted body, a vacant cartouche which shows no signs of ever having been engraved and a super pair of well modelled, cast silver lion-mask handles.
Measuring 14.1/2"diameter x 10.3/4"tall excluding the ebonised plinth, it is hallmarked for London 1901 by Edward Barnard & Sons and is without damage or repairs and again excluding the plinth, it weighs a huge 124 avoir ounces on standard scales which converts to 113 troy ounces. Monteiths of this size and quality are seldom seen on the open market.

An Early Victorian Silver Double Inkstand, London 1845.
An very good quality, early Victorian solid silver double inkstand of generous size with two silver topped cut glass inkwells flanking the central sarcophogus-shaped storage compartment, its reversible lid with flame topped final to one side, the other with candleholder.
Measuring approximately 10"long x 6.1/2"wide x 4.3/4"overall height with hallmarks for London 1845 by the Barnard Brothrs, it is in very good condition with no damage or repairs and clear hallmarks to the silver, the elegantly shaped inkwells with small chips to the four corners of the waist none of which are unsightly.

A Victorian Silver And Hardstone Bookmark, Birmingham 1887.
A very attractive, Victorian silver and inset hardstone (I'm advised that these are probably blue agate, although they look blue/grey to me) bookmark in the form of a trowel. Measuring approximately 3.1/4"long x 3/4"wide x 3/8"deep, it has well struck, clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1887 by Miller Bros. and is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs, and the blade is true and flat.
